Raizes de Goias (Roots From Goias)

Raízes de Goiás (Roots from Goiás) was inspired by a recent visit to my childhood home in Brazil, making this a very nostalgic piece that puts together lived experiences and present memories of my childhood in said home. Each element of the composition represents a different facet of memory: the foreground captures imagined recollections, shaped by time and emotion; the middleground reflects recent impressions from revisiting the home; and the background evokes vivid memories from my early years.Together, these layers weave a personal story of belonging, memory, and the passage of time.
